The Nike Air Foamposite One Anthracite was originally released in 2020 as one of the newest colorways in the Air Foamposite line. The sneaker is a new generation for Air Foamposites, which debuted in 1997 with two distinct versions called the Nike Air Foamposite One and the Nike Air Foamposite Pro.

The Nike Air Foamposite One Anthracite was designed with a specialized foam upper that molds to the foot, creating an exact fit. The Anthracite colorway is entirely black, constructed with black foam sides, black soles, and black textiles. These lace-up sneakers also feature the signature Nike Air unit, which absorbs shock and reduces wear on the joints.
